An Israeli-born dentist and married with three children, Dr. Markovitch started his training in general and cosmetic dentistry over 20 years ago in Israel. He continued his training in the United States at Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, NY, as well as in countless continuing education courses on the latest advancements in dentistry. Always smiling and happy, Dr. Markovitch believes that informed patients are better prepared to make the right decision regarding their oral health and well-being, so he takes his time to make patients feel welcome and understand what options are available in modern dentistry.
Dr. Shay Markovitch is a certified Invisalign® and Lumineers® provider. Utilizing his skills to create beautiful smiles for his patients is one of his priorities because he believes that a smile is a mirror to the soul. When not performing dentistry, Dr. Markovitch enjoys sports, specifically soccer and basketball; however, he usually prefers to spend his time with his wonderful wife and three children.
Dr. Robert A. Conca is a prosthodontist specializing in full-mouth rehabilitation using fixed, removable, and implant-supported prosthetics. He focuses on creating personalized treatment plans by carefully listening to each patient’s needs and goals.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University. He then completed a three-year prosthodontics residency at Tufts, where he also received board certification in removable prosthetics and is currently pursuing full board certification.
Dr. Conca combines traditional techniques with digital tools to deliver functional, aesthetic results, while building a calm and positive connection with his patients.
Outside the office, he enjoys reading, running, and exploring NYC or spending time in nature.
Karen Tagliamonte is a dedicated dental hygienist from Poughkeepsie, NY. She graduated from Orange County Community College in 2001 and has since been providing high-quality dental hygiene services to her patients. Karen loves working with people one on one to improve their oral health and overall health. Her favorite aspect of being a dental hygienist is educating and helping people improve their smile. Karen has 5 children and 5 grandchildren, and outside of work, she enjoys spending time with them, as well as biking and hiking. She has a keen eye for organization and decorating and enjoys going to car and motorcycle shows. Patients would describe Karen as thorough, informative, and passionate about what she does.
